Texefex 3.1 by Blacksun Software is the latest released version of this shareware utility for Windows. This software provides a text editor, which allows us to create appealing text with color effects that can be used for websites, forums, etc. Text coloring offers three types of color effects: Rainbow, Custom Gradient, and Random Settings. We are allowed to customize background color and font, color, style, and size. It is also possible to convert an image into text resulting in a cool piece of art. In addition, we can easily convert font text to text. We just write the text, select font, font size, bold and Italic, char, and BG Char, and check any of these options: Double Chars, Leading Line, and Trailing Line. From the control panel, we can adjust Brightness, Character Mode, Line Mode, Vertical Mode, Reserve Order, Invert Colors, and Generate. Once the output text has been processed, we can see the result at the Text Input & Output Tab window as RTF, although we can convert from RTF to HTML/BBCode formats. There is an evaluation version we can download directly from the developer's website and try free of charge for a 14-day period. It runs under the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows XP, 2003, 2000, NT, ME, 98SE and 98. |
